Return to Love

http://lovematterswednesday.blogspot.com

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.

There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so
that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other
people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.”

  6. Wise words. I think there should be more media exposure and even a market for this - "We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?"

  8. God is love and love one another. Although not all people you love will return the love you gave.
At least you have a heart of loving child of God that only few can make.

  10. Wow this is great! Thanks for this post... Yeah there is a way to be proud and inspire other People to shine too and being arrogant about it. We should always know the difference... We should be proud of our blessings, these are the product of our hard work. ;)

verse 2: The Lord is my refuge and fortress. verse 5-6: You shall not fear the terror of the night nor the arrow that flies by day; Not the pestilence that roams in darkness nor the devastating plague at noon.

verse 11: For to his angels he has given command about you, that they guard you in all your ways

  14. That is very or certainly true that we are the children of God, who have been sent here on earth with parents kind and dear. These parents are imbued with the gifts and fruit of the Spirit to rear up and grow their children in the "nurture and the admonition of the Lord." I know that the author, Ms. Marianne Williamson, is loving, caring, God-fearing mother. She did faithfully administer to the spiritual needs of her children, who are loved and taken cared of by Heavenly Father.

  15. yup we are born to shine, unfortunately not everyone is given the opportunity... just look at the hundreds, if not thousands, of children wandering the streets of metro manila... if given the opportunity and proper caring one of them could be the next Jose Rizal...
