I love being married. It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy

(I’m not a guru, I'm not an expert but here is my answer to the following question...)
"What is it like being married?"
ANSWER
The first two months were a bliss. After that, I don't know. LOL!
Well, it was mainly because, Dennis, needed to leave the country two months after tying the knot!
So, my marriage arrangement was different.
Every after nine months (Dennis' contract), I would be at the airport to pick him up and then after three months he would be away again.
For years it was just in the honeymoon stage

For years it was just in the honeymoon stage
and some reality stage.
That was our cycle.
We were never in the other deep stages until after almost eight years of being married.

What is it like being married?
It's like a roller coaster;
It's a kaleidoscope of colors including black, gray and white;
It could be heaven or hell, which ever you make of it;
It's being in two opposite poles, until you find your balance and middle way;
It's experiencing LIFE in a different perspective;
It's the vow.

ReplyDeleteWhat is it like being married? Well, I've been married for 3 years and nothings changed. We're still like two 18 year old lovers, plus 2 kids nga lang. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteAt the end of the day, Marriage is a lifetime commitment that needs to be handled with care whatever circumstances may come :))
ReplyDeleteMarriage is a commitment. And it should be with the right and deserving person. Love should be the bond. And yes, it is a vow.

ReplyDeleteMarriage is like sharing your life with someone and the same goes with your partner.
ReplyDeleteIf someone would ask me that, I have no idea what will my answer be. Well, great now I can just point him/her to this entry. Just curious, isn't it scary?
ReplyDeleteI will surely take note of this when I get married! I always like the Wow factor and with my boyfriend of almost 5 years I travel to US every quarter to be with him for 6 weeks max and meet in other countries for a few days during those months I am not in the US. So guess it won't change much when we get married coz there are those like you who thrive in this arrangement!
ReplyDeleteOh my. I got scared. Joke. But yeah! Marriage is not in my mind yet. But I hope I am prepared when those times like yours and Dennis' come into my relationship. Parang Long Distance Relationship lang but glad to see you overcame all the trials with that kind of rel. ;)
ReplyDeleteMarriage is a commitment to never fall out of love.
ReplyDeleteI really like your answer :) It'll take a couple more years before I'll probably get married, but I'm quite excited yet scared at the same time. I hope whatever arrangement we'll have will work out.. :)
ReplyDeletei feel the same.. my bf lives and stays in Japan, and visits me here quarterly but still hard to be apart.. love is full of "gaman / sacrifice" :)
ReplyDeleteMy marriage is fully of mystery. We separated after one month we got married because I have to return in my origin country. Then I applied for my new visa I'm here we were 3 years married this year. No fights, we argue but only silly things. Most of the time we're happy and contented. Marriage and having kids are biggest sacrifice I've done in the past and I am happy of my decision to get married with the man I truly love. The man who is the father of my child.
ReplyDeleteIt's a commitment and a vow...
ReplyDeleteI've seen this kind of arrangements.. my parents.
My mom used to sacrificed longer, it was every 2 years..
But you see they're still together now, after my dad stopped working from overseas.
You just have to ignore temptations, and get a stronger resolve for yourself. :)
At least it keeps you interested and always wanting to be together.
