Holding Hands

I remember years of going home late from school after teaching evening classes, I would always end up walking from the gate of the subdivision where we live to our house! 
It was a long walk, dark, and I was always on my own! What kept me safe, sound and secured the whole time was Jesus!
As soon as I stepped down from the jeepney (popular means of transportation in the Philippines), I would say my prayer! It was really more like a-friend-talking-to-a-friend-kind-of-communication. 
In my mind, I would say, "Jesus... here I am again! please hold my hand and let's walk together!" and I know he would do just that!
It was a good 10 minute walk and I felt his hands wrapped around my hands the whole time!
Thank you Jesus for every time I call your Name, You are there!
Thank you for the many times you have held my hand, while we were walking in the dark, you have kept me safe and secured. I felt so loved.
Up until now, You are still with me, and I know You will be until the end of time.
Amen.

    Amen! I do the same too. I talk to God like he is just beside me.I laugh ,I cry, i talk to him in different mood and mostly to keep me and my family safe.

    Amen to this full trust with the Lord Jesus Christ you've made. Everybody in Jesus is safe. With His hands everyone is held to their safety and assurance of being protected from any subtle craftiness of the devil. It's time to thank the Lord Jesus Christ.

    I would often imagine groping Jesus' hands whenever I feel lost and vulnerable and oftentimes, I would realize that he was holding me all along, I was so wrapped up in my problems that I missed his presence.

    and I love the Lord so much, with all my life, that's why I decided to dedicate a part of my life through service and following his footsteps as well (not of the nailing on the cross) but a path to holiness

Wish I was home

Since it's Holy Week, I am reminded of Visita Iglesia memories. Our family would usually visit churches on a Maundy Thursday night. We would pray the rosary while in the car and then visit one church after the other in our town. It was the best time of the week for me since I would always have my three wishes ready to be included in my prayers - and that would be to all of the churches we would visit! Funny, I was just reminded again of what I was praying for the whole time, and through all those years!!! - a boyfriend! It seemed so shallow, trivial and hollow! But, hey, it was supposed to be just between me and God! It was a long persistence and courtship too! I persisted and courted God for say... 4 years? The cursed HOW

In my blog post “ Powerful Thoughts ”, I have written how powerful our mind is and whatever we create in our minds, if we believe, it will achieve!
