Beautiful Rock Formations of Colorado Plateau!

Ute Peak or Sleeping Ute Mountain, Cretaceous Rock Formation - formed by intrusion of igneous rocks at about 72 million years. (on our way to Cortez, Colorado)

 arches type rock formation.. on our way to a uranium mining company.

 Not sure where this is. Lol! But I see Moenkopi and Chinle Formations... mmmm, I think! Lol!

 Paradox Basin, if I remember right!

 Picturesque view of the Glen Canyon Dam.

 The beautiful Capitol Reef in Utah.

Mmmm weird rock formation... Lol! It is actually one of the 67 sedimentary pipes in Kodachrome Basin National Park in Utah where we camped.

 Amazing scenic views from once an ocean a long long time ago!

    The rock formations are nice. I also saw rock formations in Yehliu, Taiwan which includes one that is shape like a queen's head but none of this would rival the rock formation in your post.

    whoah! those are really picturesque view. its as if i am already in the "core" world. lols. I don't quite remember whats the difference bet. metamorphic and sedimentary rocks, hmmm?

    Those are so grandeur and picturesque! I've only started appreciating such rock formations when I visited one recently. If you have time, you can check out a photo of me on top of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte's famous Kapurpurawan Rock Formation. It was certainly breathtaking just like those that you've posted! :)

Writing is my outlet! I have been doing this since Grade 4. When I’ve written what I have in mind, I would sleep really well and would move on.  So, it’s like a therapy to me! Almost there, but not quite... yet! I know I am involved in the process of becoming as I continue to write, as I continue to grow, yearn and learn. Learning Life's Lessons!

I heard or read somewhere that life will continue to give us lessons until we learn it. Two weeks after graduating from college, I was already teaching college students.    I was so idealistic, perfectionist and wouldn’t tolerate students who were cheating, talking while I was teaching and not doing their work. Ye s , I was really strict! Many of my former students would attest to that! The thing was even if I knew I needed to change, I continued on doing what I was doing because I was afraid if I lost my control, if I became friendly and acted my age (I was just 20 then!, some of my students were even older than me!), I felt my students wouldn’t respect me and may took advantage of my kindness. So I continued on with my demeanor; I pushed my students to meet my expectations!
